Here’s to a new truck driving career in the new year! Four weeks with DRIVE509 and you could be on the road. Our January 21st class is filling up – we’ve had lots of calls over the holiday break for people that are looking to get a CDL in Spokane or Eastern Washington.

2019 Tuition-Fees-January and February Schedule for CDL Class A.

Class A requires 4 weeks, 160 hour course – which is a combination of classroom, driving, pre-trip practice and other hands-on learning.

How much is it for the CDL School and to get a CDL?

Tuition for 2019 classes is $3,400 – Class A.
There are also additional fees of about $480 – that go to other providers for the drug
test, physical, permit, permit test, driver record and then the final exam fee.
Once you pass the final exam, the CDL license fee ranges from $10-120, depending on how much time until renewal.
Deposit: $250 holds your spot in the class and is applied to the tuition.

Next Classes:
January 21, 2019:  Our class on January 21st is filling up – if you are interested, a $250 deposit will hold your spot. We are closed this week, but you can come by next week to fill out the paperwork and hold your spot.

February 11, 2019: This class will fill up as well. Don’t delay!

Evening classes will resume in the spring when we have more daylight. Call or email today if you want to be put on the list to be notified when we are ready to start night classes.

Call to schedule – Class B is two weeks, 80 hours. Price is $2500, with the same ‘additional fees’ as mentioned for Class A.

HAZMAT Training

Effective January 1, 2019, the Hazmat Endorsement for CDL will require a 16 hour training course. We will be running courses beginning in January to fulfill this requirement. $299 for the 16 hour course.

The DRIVE509 Difference

If you are comparing CDL schools in the Northwest, be sure to read our last post that mentions what makes DRIVE509 stand out from the rest. All of the students that have completed our 160 hour course have passed the test and gotten their CDL. We also don’t charge additional tuition if you don’t pass the CDL test and need more practice.

We also offer flexible schedules to accomodate working students. For example, if you work nights or need to take kids to school, we will adjust your CDL school schedule. It may take a little longer than four weeks, but we will work with you.

Call or email today for more information, we look forward to working with you! 509-990-2884 or email:
